The dimming pack used with the Push to Make switches in The Bakelite, Asbury or Period Toggle ranges will enable lights to be turned on/off and dimmed in 1 way or multiway circuits. It can be used where an Intermediate switch is not available. Switchable between Leading or Trailing edge mode.

These Dolly Switches are moulded in the original Bakelite material and therefore have the feel, look and durability of those original switches whilst conforming to BS EN 60669-1. Offered as a standard 1 or 2 way switch, as well as a push to make link switch, which with the use of our dimming pack gives you the ability to dim your LED, halogen or incandescent lights or daisy chain a number of switches together, as you would should you have an intermediate switch to replace.

The bases are supplied in 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 gang versions with the 2 and 3 gang being available with a vertical or horizontal mounting option.

The Bakelite switches are suitable for controlling mains and low voltage lighting, halogen, incandescent GLS, LEDs and any other lighting that does not require dimming.

TO USE THE DIMMING PACK, IT REQUIRES 1 OR MORE PUSH TO SWITCHES, THESE ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS DIMMING PACK.

Limitations

All lamps used with the dimming pack must be dimmable. We have tested many manufacturers lamps and recommend the use of Dimmable Megaman LED lamps where possible.

Check the in-rush current for LED bulbs or drivers does not exceed 6 Amps before connecting. Fit inrush current limiters where necessary.

This product is not waterproof and should not be used externally.

Cleaning

This product can be easily cleaned with a soft dry micro-fibre cloth. Never apply masking tape or other similar tape to the product. Avoid the use of any cleaning chemicals and always use a Gasket on freshly plastered, painted or damp walls as the plates may discolour or warp. (Plaster can take up to 6 months to dry out). A Gasket can be made from the packaging the product comes in, or a plastic bag can be cut to stop the plate touching the plaster. Unfortunately, if these Instructions are not followed, and the plate is damaged, from the above or over tightening to the wall, it will void the product warranty.
