European VariGrid 1 gang 1 Way Only 6 Amp Push To Make Switch also known as a Retractive, Momentary, Bell or Blind Switch unit for use with VariGrid Single, Double and Triple Faceplates, which is part of Varilight's versatile VariGrid range for Europe. This insert would take up a 1 hole cut out on the face plate.

Appearance, Function and Applications

The Momentary switches have circular push buttons, and can be used where push-to-make switches are required, for example to trigger a relay or activate a motor that controls a blind, they can be used for all electric blinds, bells and applications where a momentary electric signal is required, please note, this switch is not waterproof.

The Push To Make are suitable for 1 way only circuits, i.e. where the circuit is controlled by 1 switch.

This Euro VariGrid product are part of a mix and match set that comprises of over 20+ different clip-in inserts, put together in your own configuration to create bespoke items. You have the ability, if required, to mix different colour face plates and inserts, to create your own unique blend of coolness in the home, office or anywhere.

Limitations

This product is not waterproof, therefore can not be used externally or in areas of moisture.

Cleaning

This product can be easily cleaned with a soft dry micro-fibre cloth. Never apply masking tape or other similar tape to the product. Avoid the use of any cleaning chemicals and always use a Gasket on freshly plastered, painted or damp walls as the plates may tarnish. (Plaster can take up to 6 months to dry out). A Gasket can be made from the packaging the product comes in, or a plastic bag can be cut to stop the plate touching the plaster. Unfortunately, if these Instructions are not followed, and the plate is damaged, it will void the product warranty.
